We definitely recommend Vu for shutter installation! We were referred to him by a friend (with tough standards) who had glowing compliments of Vu and his services in her own home. We built a new home just over two years ago. We selected Shutter Queen and they installed plantation shutters on all our windows. They delivered an excellent product on our timeline and at a price well below the competitors. Recently, I had a small issue with one louver on one shutter. (No fault of Shutter Queen) I called and asked for guidance. They came by two days later and quickly and easily repaired the louver at no cost. We were elated to have a completely restored shutter and done so quickly and painlessly.

The cellular shades I had on my front windows had become frayed from the sun and looked bad, and I couldn’t see outside to know when someone was approaching the front door. Now I have a new set of wooden shutters and they have really given my home a facelift! I love the custom look and am able to adjust the slats to let in some daylight while still maintaining privacy. We had them come out a couple of years ago but didn’t move forward for different reasons. Called them again and they came out same day and gave us an estimate. Price was very competitive and we said “let’s get them done.” He told us it would take a couple weeks but it ended up only taking a little over a week. They were installed today and we love them! A few days ago I called him because one of the plastic spring pins holding a slat in place broke. He answered my call immediately and came the next day to fix it at no charge. After doing some online research, I was fortunate to find Vu at Shutter Queen, who was able to come by later the same day that I contacted him. Vu was conscientious about complying with COVID-19 precautions and he wore a mask and foot coverings, and of course he maintained social distance during the consultation. After he carefully measured each window, I was amazed that the bid he offered for wood shutters was less than what I had expected to pay for composite shutters. Three weeks later he installed my shutters and I couldn’t be more pleased. The shutters are beautiful and extremely well-made.
